Shar'dai Gabrielle's latest release, House Phone, has just landed on YouTube, and the visuals are phenomenal! She teamed up with Maya Tanaka and Caroline Washington to deliver a horror film-inspired music video based on her love for the genre. They used Super 8 film to bring her vision to life. It took a lot of trial and error to get each scene just right, but in the end, they created a visual masterpiece. The overall throwback feel of the video is an excellent match for the song itself. The eerie inspiration coupled with the layered harmonies and paranoia undertones the song evokes turned out to be the perfect marriage for a classic black-and-white aesthetic.
I'm looking forward to seeing more from this Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter. Add House Phone to your Summer RnB playlist now, available on Spotify and Apple Music!
